I hope not! :p. It was dlakerguy iirc that had a problem with my G80 comments. He also doesn't own a truck right now and believes anyone on here more than once a week is unemployed. He's an interesting duck.

I just messaged the owner of the company scheduled to do my lift on January 9th and cancelled my Icon Stage 4 Kit order that was due to arrive next week or the week after. I ordered it 2 weeks ago. In addition to this thread, as well as the other one, I had a member contact me privately and let me know about his bad experience with it, as well. Seems to me Icon's customer service is lacking, regardless of the quality of their product. I'm not about to drop $3500 on a questionable lift with poor customer service. I'm going to be going with the Total Chaos UCA's and King Suspension now. Thanks for all of the input on both sides of the fence here...

Pretty sure y'all are giving Icon a false bad name. I've had my icons for over a year probably 20k miles on them and I've had no problems at all. If y'all want to get your panties out of a twist do your research and change out the coils to #650 and you should have no problem. No need to call Icon crap because y'all fucked up.

Yes I secretly work for Icon out of my house in Oklahoma. I test all of their shocks in the plentiful deserts we have here.

Yes I agree. Rough country spacer lift is far superior to the shitty Icons.

LT is way more than $3500

MT is right on at $3500
I have about $3000 just in my front end

Correct, but they aren't going MT from what I've seen.

The Kings will give you the same amount of lift as icons.

IIRC their stage 4 is for mild rock crawling. You don't necessarily need large travel numbers, but you want decent clearance. Their stage 6 is LT desert stuff.

I have talked with Icon a few times over the years for parts and rebuild service and have always found them to have good customer service.

Only read the OP. Sounds like a toilet kit of parts. Yikes. If you only want 2" why not go with OME? Bullet proof reputation, quality parts and they always under advertise their lift heights to account for variations in weight.
