Just on the light pods, leave the stock harness alone!

So before you put your hi lift in your bed.. Think of how, when you are gonna be using it.. If you need it more than likely in mud or clay dirty or even raining situation.. That mud, clay would be chunks in your bed.. I know people do it all the time but just think about it before you do it.. The times you will need it won't be on a sunny day..

I like the looks of them. Doesn't look like it would rattle much and that's what I'm aiming for

Those don't look to be the same connectors. Don't think they will mate with factory plug.

Wow, missed 15 pages today lol. Was off all day putzing around in the geerage. Got most of my 30k done, got interrupted a LOT, all good tho. Only last thing i have to do tomorrow is front diff oil. Got the rear diff, and xfer case done, along with oil and filter, cabin filter, engine air filter, spark plugs, drive shaft lube and torque, rotate tars and air pressure adj. cabin filter was nasty, hard to beleive good ol toyota ever changed it during the free service through 25k. also, the driveshaft didnt seem like it ever had been greased either. Spark plugs looked decent coming out. Am kinda whooped

They make locks and make other things I'm not sure if @Matic has his locked or not but the side mounts on the bed racks and on bumpers make it easier to throw a bike lock around it

@Hard Luck GraphiX did yours connect to the factory plug. I just Noticed that the two that got posted weren't alike.

No you have to cut the factory plug off & wire the new plug on the wiring harness & then on the pods , then just plug them together .

Have any of you tackled putting a radio on your taco? I really want an auxiliary port so I can play stuff off my phone. But the Tacoma scares me a bit for doing a radio it seems like it's a pretty major job.

Busted CV boots and lots of squeaks.
I am thinking of a cable lock on mine. After all, a lock of any kind is just a deterrent. If a thief wants it that bad......he gonna get it. Locks are only good for an honest thief.

That's why I was digging deeper. The set you had posted looked more like the factory pic that you had.

I'm not sure it's the right one either, but it looked more like it.
