Same to you. Yeah it was pretty nice, 53, here today in southeast Illinois. Starting tomorrow it is going to rain 4 days straight and possibly more. This time next week it sounds like things may turn to winter. It is that time for sure.

I was going to use Mobil 1 but another guy suggested Pennzoil Full Synthetic and I have always used Pennzoil so I figure I'll keep using it. Might put 1 quart of Royal Purple in with it so I can read the dipstick.

If only Toyota dropped an OEM turbo on the 2.7. Low end torque and high end HP.

Would jizz the second I would hear the news. No shame whatsoever.

A turbo will decrease the mileage, decrease the reliability and increase the cost. There is more then is a more one then one four banger who would rather just have a six.:turtleride:

I don't understand why so many toyota guys are against gas turbos because of so called "lack of reliability", but everyone seems to be on board for the toyota D4D set up out of the Hilux. o_O

Because it's not the turbo, it's the engine. Diesel engines cost more becasue they are made sturdier. Most people "say" they want a diesel. This is a cheap crowd and $4k more for a motor that only has 180 plus HP gets better mileage for a truck that isn't used to tow much according to surveys of owners, isn't worth it. Do you think you can get a diesel in a base or SR5 ? Not hardly. You will be lucky to find one under $40k.
