Skip the SPOT and go with a Delorme. Better service and provides emergency service coordination if needed.

On the GPS topic, the tablet app combo has been plenty accurate for off road for me. I've got a samsung tab (cheap!) With the pro version of backcountry navigator (12$) which lets you download any kind of imagery, topo, bla bla. That paired with a 32gig sd card works great. Also backcountry navigator plays well with google earth, making trip and route planning easy. I've been using the "mob-x" mount in the middle of the windshield and its perfect with the small version of the samsung tab. My .02

    Merry Christmas too guys!

Don at Good Knight Racing built my 9" third member for me. 24 hour turn around, totally stoked.

    looks nice.

so what are peoples thoughts on adjustable rear shocks? something with a fancy knob i can turn to adjust it :D lol.
i was thinking of these because when i am out off road my truck is loaded 50% of the time. so it would be nice to have nice DD manors and same when the truck is loaded.

Last I checked SPOT didn't receive texts?

Which emergency service coordinator do they use? It's been a while since I compared the two.

So close to ripping my front end off for full Solo kit. Finished modding the tundra oe axles. One feels kind of stiff like it wants to lock in a certain position or bind a little. Is that ok? Wasn't sure if the cups have to go on the splines a certain way, I wouldn't think so.

    20151224_200313.jpg

Edit: nvm, when I roll them like it would on the vehicle they feel alright. Wanting to be cautious because I don't want to do anything twice. I so hate that!

    Ads has clickers too.

Think the general consensus is they aren't really worth it if you mob semi hard. They work by restricting the flow to the resi and that causes the shocks to over heat faster.

So guys that have Poly motor mounts (bonzen/dtf) are you just plating your trans mount? Looked at it and would be easy to do but not sure about having Poly up front and solid in the rear

I also use a Samsung Galaxy 4 with Viewranger GPS as the main GPS App and have PDF Maps as the backup App. Works will for what I do and the built in GPS receiver is accurate enough. The View Ranger is great for creating routes and waypoints. The only thing I need to figure out is to find a decent and easy way to convert .usr files to .gpx files..IMG_20150524_162846_631.jpg

What do you mean by plating it and solid? Do you mean a truly solid mount with no bushing?
