Anyone hear about a guy with his 2 young girls getting lost in the mountains the last 2 days? Went up Sultan basin road to find a Unimog hi centered at the top, pulled him off and he said they were looking for a guy and 2 girls that have been missing.. He didn't tell anyone exactly where he was going but frequents FS roads off hwy 2 mostly, red Subaru with Grey. Keep an eye out

He tried going over this big mound of what I assume are trees under the snow but then go hi centered trying to back out. I should have taken a picture of it. It was a 1960's so I'd say more of the $6k-$8k range lol

No, they could be up any FS road off highway 2. Im thinking about heading up to look tomorrow. They are in a subaru hatchback, I think the license plate is something like AWS-27x2, girls are 4 and 6. Haven't seen it on the news at all which is surprising

Thanks, I picked up two of the smaller ones. Timing works well as i just got a DSLR and so did the gf.

Are you sure they are actually missing? Seems weird it wouldnt be in the news, especially when the skier at Snoqualmie whose been missing for a week has been in the news for a week.

 

Thats what I thought too but the guy had a whole note sheet about the vehicle, what the guy was wearing, where he typically goes etc.. The guy I talked to about it even said the only reason they went up sultan basin road was to look for them so I'd assume this isn't a lie..

 

I can search after about 8 am. Won't be light till then anyway. Let me know.

 

Will do, the main 2 roads im thinking of is in Baring (6024), make a left across the RR tracks then head up to a hiking trail head, or up beckler road. Beckler has so many FS roads off of it that'll take a day in itself.

 

Probably soonest I could get up ther is 9 or so. Meet at Booby Trap? Or just comm on channel ??

 

Im going to call the Snohomish County search and rescue in the morning and see what they say, that'll probably determine what I do
