There are a bunch of places were you can't open carry. The mall isn't one of those places. It has to be holstered. If not, your asking for trouble.

Lol, that's not how open carry works. Open carry means your are carrying your firearm openly, meaning it is exposed and visible. If you have it on your belt, you have to pull your shirt and tuck it behind the firearm so it's not hidden in any way. You can open carry handguns, rifles, shotguns, etc.

Concealed carry is when it is not visible, like when you have it tucked inside your pants, in your pocket, or loaded in your vehicle. You never, for any reason other than preserving your life or someone else's, take your weapon out of the holster in public

I was gifted the TRD radiator cap, oil cap and shifter knob. It took maybe 5 minutes to install all three items. I'm pretty happy with these new add ons. Also, for what it's worth, I've never openly carried a pistol. Instead I always carry concealed in an IWB holster. I may be wrong, but I believe that's the best and safest way for average Joes, like me, to arm ourselves.

The only time I open carried was carrying my handgun on me when I was too young to have a concealed carry permit. You can open carry when you're 18, but you can't conceal it until you're 21. I only did this when I was using the gun for protection on fishing trips or going hunting though. I won't make a point to let people know I'm carrying, not that anyone around my area cares anyway

Thanks, do you have any pictures of them in your truck? I'd like to see how they look and if they have a clean fit.

I can't help you with pictures, but I have weatherbeaters front and back and they are amazing
Very precise fit, and the black option matches my black/grey interior perfectly

The front ones go all the way up close to the firewall, and the driver side one covers the elevated footrest entirely
The back one covers the hump in the middle and has a curved lip at the edges to keep in stuff

In other words, you nor anybody is getting anything dirty unless you try

I went thru pep boys with a crap magnet, got it all
I am driving across the country and will be using the space behind the driver seat. I hate having the "wall" back there (when the seats are folded down) and it restricts the recline feature of the passenger seat. I removed the factory riveted pins and installed some aircraft pins. It takes less than a minute to remove the seats now, I prefer it to removing the bolts every time I need the space .

Pins are from McMaster-Carr, 5/16" DIA

    I am using (3" 92384A061 $30.34) because I had them.

    A less expensive alternate would be ( 3" 95165A061 $17.49)

    Or even cheaper (3" 98404A270 $2.44)

Unbolt the seats. The old pins are riveted, grind off both ends, drive them out. Run a 5/16" drill thru the assembly, deburr.

Pins ar snug and tight , no rattles.

because of the design of the seat brackets a "ball lock" pin is not necessary.

Dont do this if you can't take responsibility for your own actions. Your milage may vary.

Very nice! Where did you get the pins? What size/length? Does the pivot feel as tight as the factory pins?

You're not worried drilling that part out like that could lead to safety issues during an accident? Seems like that could be an issue if you have passengers back there.
