What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Run the exhaust tube on the inside side of the frame rail. Not actually in the frame. But as Monte said, it may be too close to the exhaust. You could wrap it or make a heat shield though. Or go down driver side if you're really serious. I would go with a larger diameter tube than stock and the flow will be fine. Vacuum air isn't going to be effected by bends and length as much as pressurized air or fluid. I assume you have windows in your topper? Otherwise making a vacuum wouldn't be desirable.

 

Cause it sucks crap up.

Some people like the look of Retrofit Projectors + LED Rings. The rings aren't my thing but I think that would look better than what you linked. I can tell you first hand that a good set of Projectors are much brighter and nicer looking than standard halogen headlights. I think you can also get the lenses on the Projectors colored but I don't know much about that.

 

PM LS15 here on TW. He knows quite a bit about that kind of stuff.

 

So are you planning to custom fab your bumpers? Or maybe fab up some new brackets so the old bumpers fit the new frame? I hope that bro dozer type bumpers that were made for the frame aren't an option, but to each's own if they are i suppose.

 

Stock dodge bumpers definitely won't fit. I'm working on adapting my taco bumper up front. The rear might need to wait until I can get rid of the leaf spring hangers so I can cut the frame shorter.
