    I'm about to swap out the interior lights with LED "cool white" but was wondering if there is a noticeable difference in the dome light that measures 30mm with 61 lumens compared to the map lights with 100 lumens? Awesome thread, been digging through it all night to make it right. Thanks for all the info!

    The map lights and the license plate lights were the most infuriating to change. I used tape to get the map lights loose. Then used a little hook tool to pop it out the rest of the way. The license lights were difficult because of the angle and my hands wouldn't fit in there well with the tow package.

    I suffer from big hands as well, so what did you do to get the licence plate lights changed?

    Easiest way for Map lights is to pull out the whole panel. Took me less than 30 sec to pull out and replace both bulbs.

    For the passenger side the angle was good enough for my right hand to get in far enough. I'm right hand dominant so some time and curse words got it replaced. It's more difficult to get it back in than out. The driver side I got slightly loose then had my friend who is a lefty angle in better and finish it. I don't see an "easy" way to do it unless you have small hands.

    The tape and hook tool took only about 30 seconds too. It took me about 20 minutes to figure that method out though. :rolleyes: The tape only loosened it a bit and kept tearing. The hook couldn't get in far enough without it loose. A combined effort worked nicely.

    Oh okay, yeah I took off the light covers off and it looked like a pain. So I just pulled down the whole assembly and the bulbs pull out the top side super easy.

    ottoperformance did you get yours off Amazon or the OP's link? I was wondering if the kit of amazon works.... I am in Canada and the superbrightleds so not deliver here, bummer :(
