    I need longer wheel stud, my wheels are a bit thicker than stock and i only get minimal thread contact, so my mechanic HIGHLY recomends longer studs, but, I don't want to pay him to do the job. I will have to take some measurments to see if it is a driveway job or not. On my Scout, I had to pull the axle sahfts to replace the studs.

    The same wheels you saw. Helo 842. I only get about 5 full threads on the lugs. I would hate to break off a wheel on the trail.
