Yeah...only Tacoma enthusiasts...no one here cares about any other vehicles.

    Makes sense.

    Did you say Horse power?

I totally agree. In fact, it works opposite of what you would think. I spent munch more of a % of my total income on cars and trucks than now when I make more. I'm more satisfied with what I have than what I want.

after hearing ops story, it sounds like the trdof is a want not a need.
id first clear my debt then look into trading for the other truck. enjoy
your new limited in the meantime, you will probably take a few thousand
loss on the limit weather you trade it in today or next year. life is less
stressful if you can live within your budget.

I'm curious to know what field his 12 years of post HS schooling was in. It would help me understand why one would come onto the WWW and ask about making trivial decisions on a vehicle purchase/impulse buy.

I'd say if you're putting $$ towards your kid's college funds, paying extra $$ towards your mortgage monthly, donating to your favorite charities, and still have plenty of disposable income(which u should at $400k/yr), go buy any damn Tacoma u want & don't look back! ;)

So you didn't tell someone what they should buy and what they should be doing with their money?

So many spins, I'm afraid I've lost my sense of direction and am confused on who the douche is.

You won't get beat up as much as you think. I traded a 14 with 19K for a new 15 for $4000 total...Sold the 2015 privately and paid $6000 more for my sixteen that has $3000 in options I did not have on the 15. So t was another $3000 to step up in year to a new redesign I was not sure I would like.

Just do it. You have the income to do whatever you want. I am waiting to see the Honda Ridgeline. If it looks more like a Pickup than the last version, I will likely buy it. Toyota has disappointed me.
