Are those the stock TRD Pro rims? If not, which rims are those?

Looks like the stock TRD Pro's with the rings either removed or painted black

mine are 285/70/17, i live in the deep south. we have alot of temp fluctuations and heavy humidity, i try to keep them at 30psi. but i have always run all my BFG's a little low for cushion on the road, and I find they last longer. just do not go too low or your outter edges will get worn quick!

Were you able to fit a 285/75/16s KO2s in the factory spare tire spot? Looks like it is hit or miss depending on the tread. Hopefully have another year or so to go before mine need replaced but I like these, thanks for the heads up that they fit!

Here is my Tacoma with 285/75/16 KOs. I added the Bilstein (set at 0) with 887 coils. I have change the rear. The front tires did rub, so I had to remove the mud flaps and trim a bit. There is also now some whistling when driving over 50 miles per hour. I wonder if it will go away once I swap the front bumper? In terms of milage, I get around 13-14 miles per gallon as I live in Los Angeles and drive to work with LA traffic.

For the guys that went 285. Do you feel like you need to regear? Are the 285 load E rough?

My truck feels fine on the Streets and Highways. I do see a difference, but its really nothing just a difference from my previos 265s, when starting to move my car out of park it takes a bit more of gas when first moving. I did have to trim my front fender but it is not visible as it is in the inside bottom of the fender and I also had to remove my front mud flaps to not rub. No need to regear on my setup.

What tires did you have before and what mpg did those get you?

I used to have 265/70/16, I do not know exactly the mpg that I used to get on those but I do see my gas gage going down faster than it used to ... I may have lost a mile or two per gallon but I can not really tell.

    Looks great man!

    I have currently 285/75/16 on a 16x8 -12 offset wheel and 3" lift.
I'm looking to purchase the TRD beadlocks so if yours fit I would assume they would fit on my TRD OR.
