My dad and I are actually stopped at Lake of the Ozarks for a few days to visit with family in Missouri. The drive has been hellish to say the least. Torrential rains through PA, WV, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri. It finally stopped now that I'm sitting around in the parking lot waiting for the resort staff to arrive and check into the room.

Truck and trailer were packed pretty tight yesterday.

    2nd shot is this morning.

I've NOT been branded but, I was happy to brand a dude a few years ago...it was messy as fuck. Of course booze was involved but, that shit slid around on his skin like a hot knife going through butter. That's when I decided...no.

That's pretty much what I had. Roast in the crock pot with carrots, celery, onions, broth, garlic, balsamic vinegar, pepper, fennel, S&P. Needs a little something else for the spices, just not sure what. Less onion next time too...
