What memory card did you chose? I know the minimum specs, and that 64GB is all it will handle.

And from what they show here http://gopro.com/help/articles/Block/microSD-Card-Considerations it would seem that one of San Disk models makes sense.

Not sure why there are so many choices that are micro SD class 10 @ 64GB though........ and the prices do vary a good bit if you start looking them up on places like Newegg, Amazon and Best Buy.

I'm not going to be a big 'hey ya'll watch this' film maker, but I do snorkel, kayak fish, and hike in places that might have some interesting results.

So. Recommendations? What has worked well for you?

I will say that my SanDisk Class 10 32gb didn't have a high enough write speed at 40mb/s. It would cause choppy video when recording anything above 30fps or 720p.

I now have Samsung Pro Class 10 64gb card with 80mb/s write speed, and it handles everything I throw at it.

I picked up a SanDisk 64GB U3, 95 write speed. Way more ability than my Hero 3+ needs. So full 1080 should be no problem.

Nice! It's amazing how much cards have changed in a year. That's how long ago I bought mine, and now they have ones with the same write speed as mine for half of what I paid haha

Watch Best Buy... They sold off one and put out the same card with 1 different letter in the part number. Manager matched the online price, 1/2 off! This stuff is a major rip off. Mounts cost me as much as the go pro!

Look for mount 'kits' on Amazon and eBay. They are not GoPro labeled, but for most purposes they work just fine. You can get a box with more stuff than you know what to do with for $35 or so.
