Most likely a physician of some sort, possibly a surgeon is my guess, or a multiple-boarded physician. 4 years of medical school, a few more years for a residency, and then a couple to several more years of fellowship(s), depending on your chosen path. A neurosurgical residency is 7 years alone! A buddy of mine is a triple boarded MD and also has a JD. Now that's insane!

Hi guys, thanks for the laughs and input. I guess I have simple tastes, grew up poor and worked my way up. Always wanted a 300zx and Tacoma when I was a high school kid so now I decided to get one.

I know nobody cares but since some had asked. Worked hard in high school and got a full tuition scholarship to a small college. Parents had no money to help me with that. Yes 4 years college, 4 years medical school (6 hours a day studying required for me) , 4 years of specialty medical residency (80 hour weeks). 30 years old before I had my first job. Yes I worked at McDonald's and was a waiter and a secretary in college nobody handed me anything.

    Wife has a Honda Odyssey.

Now with 10 years of work experience the 400k, but along with it comes a 50-60 hr work week. Don't forget federal income taxes alone of 35%, state taxes, etc. Helped to support parents to the tune of 200k over past 10 years, 3 kids to save for college, 300k medical school debt eats into things but yes it's paid off now. By no means am I complaining. Just explaining as some had asked.

Going to contact my sales guy and see what numbers he can come up with for a deal. Like I said the truck has 600 miles on it and limiteds cost MORE than OR's. We shall see. Taking care of patients all day at work then 3 kids at home doesn't leave me any time for myself. Honestly I have been watching all those off road videos and fantasize about having the freedom, time and truck to do it myself. I'm sure the limited could do most of it just fine too without the locker. So as I drive to Home Depot to pick up lawn fertilizer or mulch or use crawl control to get over the curb at the mall, I can dream about all those mountains and nature shots those here post about. Thank you all for your oppinions. I really appreciate it. This is my first Tacoma.

No need to justify wanting the OR actually. I'd bet dollars to donuts the majority of guys here that have OR's and lift them, new tires, etc. won't even get their trucks off-road to do the truck justice and use it anywhere t's real potential.

Checkout Katzkin leather. I had basic black installed for $1000. They have a ton of options for a few dollars more. I've seen guys post photos of them with "TRD" logos on them. Nice stuff.

U have an OR and want another just like it? I already have 2000 on mine and by time one shows up if I order my sport will have about 10000 miles in 4 more months maybe . I was hoping if I did it I could switch for $5k difference. More I think about it as much as id like to have the OR and locking diff i just dont know if it is worth it for me. I really think I can have as much fun with sport and just not go too overboard off road and then use that money for lift tires and wheels

Congrats on your life accomplishments! With three growing kids, I would consider 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser. A Land Cruiser is my dream car but obviously given my meager income (10% of what OP makes which commiserates with my community college level education), it is not feasible anytime soon or even after my $20,000 death policy before taxes. Sounds like you are really intelligent given you exquisite education but surely you know cars are not an investment but rather a money sucking pit. You may want to save the extra cash for rainy days such as certain augmentation or tightening procedures since the rewards are more immediate and direct. BTW: A great looking truck.

I don't blame you. Blue is a girls color and the "Limited" is a woman's vehicle.

    That oughta do it....

Crappie man, I'll let you know what dealer says about the trade. Mine has 600 now and would probably have only 3000 miles in 4 months because I live less than a mile from work. 5k would be quite a bit I think you are being too pessimistic. I don't think it would be that much. I'll get back to you.
