    Hey everyone,

Can anyone give me some suggestions on where I can go to do some light off-roading in my 2.7 2WD Prerunner (I know my options are limited because of the 2WD...and the 2.7). I've messed around on some of the trails on Reche Canyon Rd. (unpaved section) and the little beast did surprisingly well. Also, what permits do I need if any? We just moved to CA a few months back so I'm still learning some of the laws.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!

There are some nice trails in banning. Head east on the 10 and take the sunset off ramp and turn right. Keep going straight and you will hit the trails.

How about Jack Rabbit Road. It connects Gilman Springs Road to 60 West. It's a primitive road as in not maintained, but has some good sections. I would avoid it until it drys out.
