Is the valence easy to attach and remove?
I seldom do offroad where the valence would be a problem.

How much data do you have to back up your stated improvement in gas mileage? I'm not saying you aren't seeing that, I'm just curious how well it's substantiated.

Fueley shows about 1mpg difference between the OR and the Sport. I see three differences (one is based on assumptions):

    1. Sport has a road squeegee
    2. Sport has different tires that are more road oriented (which is funny because the AT's on the OR are not exactly aggressive).
    3. The OR is *probably* more likely to be bought with 4wd. Fuely doesn't let you slice it that way (yet? there's not a lot of data so far)

It seems reasonable that the road squeegee is making a difference. I mean, the one on the GM twins is enormous, so I'm thinking it's beneficial if GM is willing to sacrifice aesthetics and off-road ability to have it that big.

I think it's also reasonable to assume the tonneau helps because of the information we saw about Toyota being required to install them on a percentage of trucks to use their claimed MPG numbers.

So, I guess I'm saying, your results are within reason.

Another round of questions if you don't mind. What kind of tires? How does it ride? Any alignment issues with factory UCA's? Did you add anything to the rear(AAL,blocks)? If so, what? Any rubbing at all?

The company should be giving the driver a urine test. Unfortunately these employees are lazy asses protected by the union and lie to save their asses even though it's hard to fire them. I can say that with confidence since I got family that work for one of the companies in the Santa Clara county and hear the bullshit mafia stories every week.

I think UPS delivered those to the wrong address, happens quite often around this time of the year. Post pics once installed.

On automotivetouchup.com it does not list 2016 Tacoma. How did you find quicksand to match?

Thinking about getting these...does car wax get stuck in cracks around letters? Will they withstand car wash pressure?

I hear you, I'm just basing on the difference I saw pre and post airdam. it seemed to make more of a difference than the tonneau actually.

also it fits with the sport vs off road window sticker (I had to pay a gas guzzler tax in NJ on my OR but wouldn't have on a sport) my OR MT is rated at 17/20 on the window sticker, sport MT is 1 MPG better on the window sticker (I think it is 17/21)

the valence was very easy to bolt up. I bought it takeoff from another member here and they sent the little clips and small bolts (there are 11).

everything bolts up in about 5-10 minutes but you do need to remove the big tow hook on the passenger side of the Off road....it just had 2 large bolts to unbolt, unfortunately you cannot put the airdam on and have that on as well.

That is the best grill mod I have seen IMO. If you ever want to get rid of it, let me know.

Police officer said they will give him a test. Since it was the morning after Christmas I asked him if he was hungover and how he couldnt have been more aware of his surroundings. Not sure how union operates but I'm actually a part of them but have only been with them for 6 months.
