I'll be home from work in a couple hours and get some for you, anything you want to see in particular? My truck is in the shop getting a new oil pan so no pictures with the truck. Long travel games = Long travel prizes.

Ha, gotta pay to play. Assuming that he shipped everyones fenders at the same time, mine should land very soon as I think I'm the furthest from him on this batch. I wanted to take all of the measurements when I lay the fiberglass fender next to the factory sheet metal on the shop floor. I can do it, just acting like an anxious little kid.

Went to Wolf-Fab today to do a a post install inspection with Austin as well as to put in the limit straps that I ordered after we got everything in and measured. We got did some BS'ing after we were done about future plans so I forgot to take pictures. 9" black Poly Performance 4-ply limit straps with single shear buckles.

It's still raining here and the cornfields around me have waves on them. This is considered by most around here as, to quote the President of the United States, "sub-optimal." Luckily a package I ordered from Australia early November finally arrived so I've got something to watch while I wait for the world to dry up.

I've got quite a few of the Australian 4WD Action DVDs and they are fun to watch but can get to be a bit of an infomercial from time to time. I've heard great things about these guys so I figured I'd give them a look. Plus a couple of them run 70 Series Land Cruisers which I really dig, so I'll get to be griping at not being able to go to the local Toyota store and buy a new one.

As far as truck plans go, like the others I too need to get the fenders in hand, get them fitted and then painted so I can mount up my new wheels and tires so we can see what needs to be tubbed or hammered.

I have an appointment with a local car audio shop to replace the factory head unit with an in-dash navigation unit, pop in some new tweeters, and add a glass break sensor to my alarm. While that is happening I'll be making the final arrangements to get the new fuel cell made and then shipping to me and I'll order the new gears as well as the rear locker.

    Stay tuned.

Have my fenders, they look great but it's too cold, and too dark to try and take measurements for comparison right now. I will make them and post them up so others can see the factory and fiberglass numbers.

Funny thing about getting these fenders in hand. McNeil shipped them via Greyhound Freight. I honestly never knew that Greyhound had a freight service. Was given a tracking number to keep tabs on them and for some reason they never got logged after passing through St. Louis. Called the Mt. Vernon, IL location that they were being shipped to and the guy tells me, "oh yeah, they've been sitting here for days." Good lookin' out dude.

Pull on my boots and jump in the truck and point it towards Mt. Vernon. Go to address listed on website and it's incorrect. That address belongs to a chrysler store. Call the dude again. "I'm between a McDonalds and a Cracker Barrel on the other side of town." Head over there and keep prowling around the two buildings trying to figure out what I'm missing because I don't see any Greyhound signs or buildings. Go into McDonalds to ask if they know where it is. "It's over there dude." The Greyhound freight station was quite literally inside a closet off to the side of the McDonalds lobby.

Need to order new cloneable TPMS sensors, some taller, heavier duty springs for the coil-overs, and a few odds and ends. Just sold some projects so play money will be in hand again soon.

I'm ready to see some progress too, as it drives me nuts to see piles of parts that are ready to go as soon as other stuff gets done.

I had the stereo head unit installed but I don't think I like it as it acts up allot. Need to get back with the installer and work out a solution.

Fenders get fitted and painted on the last week of January and am very excited about that.

I ordered new coils for the front as the 13" x 600lb springs aren't going to work for me. Micah @Downsouth Motorsports hooked me up with a new pair of 14" x 700lb springs that will go in soon.

The reason that there have been so few updates lately is that I've been spending three mornings a week hooked up to this.

I'm doing dialysis for about four hours a session and coordinating with a transplant team in the city to get on the kidney transplant list.

The lost time doesn't really bother me but the limitations of not being able to use my left arm for pretty much anything really sucks. I had an AV fistula - dialysis port - created in my arm and in the process there was some nerve damage.

Austin at Wolf-Fab has been awesome and his enthusiasm has really lifted my spirits. I plan to meet with him later today to work out some of the plans that we have made for future projects.

More to come, just be patient with me for a bit.

You have an extra kidney for him? Maybe work out a trade for some truck parts for it?

Thanks fellas. It will get done, but sadly it will take longer than planned.

@headhunter247, we are really stoked to be ready for this years camping. I hope to be doing a home dialysis by springtime which means that as long as I have power where I'm at, I can do the treatments wherever I am instead of being forced to come into the center all the time.

@Acerwin, thanks for the offer, have a great support system here but it's humbling to have others reach out with offers.

@iJonny, i wouldn't go pushing people off of motorcycles just yet, but if you find a kidney I'd appreciate it if you'd keep me in mind.

I thought about seeing if you were free yesterday but I had to take advantage of the weather to spray that fluid film. Hopefully we have another decent day coming up and we can get together, let me know the next time you plan on heading over to wolf fab and I could more than likely meet you over that way
