Sounds like your temps with the snorkel might be slightly lower than mine with the stock location. Also I just got my ultra gauge so I only have cold weather experience with it. Not sure if anything would be different during the summer? Not sure if the ultra gauge has the ability to measure cfm? I'll have to check and get back with you.

I could be wrong calling it cfm. It's the measurement of the volume air passing the MAF.

I can measure mass air flow rate in grams per second. There are two sensors, one raw and one calculated by the UG. The raw sensor has a range of 0-655.35 g/s and the calculated sensor has a range of 0-999.9 g/s. Neither sound like they are comparable to the one you're seeing on your scan gauge if you're seeing 1200+. Could be different units maybe? :notsure:

Mine is measuring mass flow rate sounds like yours may be calculating volumetric flow rate?

So I did some :burnrubber:on my lunch break... It looks like at wide open throttle the raw MAF sensor is showing a peak of about 175 g/s at peak rpms right before a gear change. I chose to use the raw sensor over the second calculated sensor the ultra gauge has available because I haven't been able to find anywhere what calculation is being performed or where it's input values come from for the calculated value.

I already have a 2 inch lift, so putting on these icons will only make my truck a little bit taller

true but this is a true lift, not blocks. making you want to go wheeling more, more ground clearance is always nice.

what about skids? custom bedside decal? bed rack? rear bumper? rear dif breather mod? rock lights? rear lights?

Yeah, I will probably move to 33's once I wear through these tires that I have now, or maybe I will just get them at the start of spring when I actually start wheeling again. Skids and rear bumper will be a long wait and a lot of money and I don't know if I would be able to do a bad rack because of my tonneau cover.
