Yes there is definitely a noticeable range difference along with a better quality/intensity of light, especially in the darker back roads. When I turn my high beams on I am reminded of how much better the HIDs really are. Theoretically the "right" way to do it is to retrofit a HID projector BUT the HID conversion kits perform just fine in the projector lenses in our vehicles. Since the projector lenses have the cut off that prevents the light from going stray like the reflector lenses, there shouldn't be an issue with blinding people, unless your lights are aimed too high. If you get flashed it will likely be because you are on a hill and the lights are shining at an angle that is not natural or if the other car is lower than normal.

I'm looking for an alternative mounting solution too. My plates will arrive any day and I'd like to avoid drilling the holes in my front bumper if possible. It's not a big deal though, I suppose.

Not a huge thing, but finally had a spare tailgate key cut at a locksmith ($8.50 plus 30 mIle round trip because I lIke a particular business). Now I can ditch the one on my Keychain and put it in the spare key drawer with my second fob.

Now just need to get a plastic hook and hang one in my glove box or center counsel with my TRD Keychain dealio. The hook was an idea from one of the other members.

Right on. I work for Niner as the Midwest Territory Manager; we ship a key fob attachment with each RKT 9 RDO that says the same thing!

Gunmetal steelies look better than 80% of the aftermarket wheels posted in this forum. Especially the ones with sparkley fake bolts around the lip.

Hell, I just want someone rich enough to adopt and spoil me. I'm okay with having daddy issues for the right price. LMAO.

^ You really did a great job on those wheels and tire size selection. Minimalistic, clean, looks original, durable, inexpensive, and unique!

Anyone with fake bolts adorning their wheels should take note.

Did you ever have a mount on the bumper?

It looks like it, if there was never anything mounted all that would be in its place are two barely noticeable dimples. If they mount the bracket those dimples become holes

It wasn't supposed to, everybody had followed the rules to not touch my front bumper until it went to the detailer and he thought he was doing them a favor, he thought they forgot to put it on, he's an asshole

If you look underneath on your truck you'll see two bolts that are basically in line with the license plate bolts but just a little farther out on both sides, I took two 3 inch L brackets and used those existing bolts on the truck put on the L brackets, market 2 new holes on the license plate, drilled the plate and mounted it
