I don't believe I've actually discovered that place yet. I think I have a mission to go there I need to do

 

Except they're not

I have a floating building with my power armor and sometimes when I get to Sanctuary there is a settler up in my floating building

 

Ya I think I fixed that problem by making it taller and moving it away from the pre-existing buildings. It started out attached to the house with the workshop's carport and settlers would always get up there. Now the only way up is to fast travel there or move walls or jump a series of gaps that you can only make with a jet pack

 

The only way to get to mine is to go into crafting mode and move a floor section to create a bridge over to my floating building from the 3rd floor of a building I built for my settlers

 

I had a floating structure in sanctuary, but there was nothing I could do to keep settlers out. I tried removing everything that they could use (chairs, crafting stations, etc) and removing the fast travel pad, but they'd still spawn up there. I ended up booting everyone out of the Red Rocket Truck Stop, taking the beacon down, and building an unnecessary amount of turrets. I store my power armor there now.

 

I've built nothing. Level 21 still working on the main story. Figure I'll get to all that stuff after.

 

Way behind but I ran into my first feral ghoul(s) at the airplane crash site. Didn't expect them to be so fast....

 

Those guys still scare the shit outta me when you don't see them coming

 

Leg VATS shots are your friend, especially early in the fight

 

Whenever I walk around in the woods or in town areas at night I constantly tap the VATS button so nothing sneaks up on me

I've had an entire room of ghouls just staring at me from the floor before

 

IDK what I'm doing wrong but if I use VATS i end up missing 75% of the time

 

Watch out for doorways and ledges between you and the target. You'd think VATS is line of sight but it's more like line of sight with a toilet paper tube 5" wide clear all the way to the target. Also, try to up your VATS with perks to armor. I know you don't powerarmor but this is where a VATS helmet would literally allow you to fuck shit up.

Well I'm restarting. Time for a fresh play through. Railroad style.

 

I don't think I have the patience for a fresh play through. At least not any time soon. I think I'll just go as far as I can without picking a side for all the factions, save, pick a side, beat the game. Load save, pick next faction, beat game etc
