I hope this thread topic can fit in with this category. I didn't know where else to put it. I would like to see what ladder configurations people have on their rigs. What designs and locations have worked best for overlanding/camping. Attached to rear bumpers, sliders, roof racks, etc. How useful ladders are for adjusting roof straps or gear on top. Many people probably just get by standing on their rock sliders or standing on the tires. I will post a few configurations I have come across. 13954954755_c62556ecf0_h.jpg fj60expeditionrearbumperban.jpg gobixjladder.jpg i-7wW8nPp-X3.jpg izPSGsB.jpg sof1128-8.jpgroofrackladder.jpg DSCF0008.jpg 20130602_140049.jpg

Never thought of the use of a ladder on a truck, but I can see some benefits. Not so much on an open bed with a rack, because you can stand on the bedsrails. But, with a shell it could be useful like on a SUV.

I agree, more practical with an suv. I was thinking of this setup with a truck and shell combo. I don't take credit for creating this 3d model just drew in an idea of the ladder hinging down to act as a surface for cooking/prep. Or hinge from the top to hang out over your head to hang wet clothes, haha. Just ideas going through my head. 1234.jpg
