Smugly: Love what you have done to your new truck. So the old steelies fits the 2016 truck (good to know). What is this sparkley fake bolts around lip people are referring to? I might have missed it but do you mind sharing what trim/options level your truck is? (sport, trd, 4x4...)

The fake bolts that they are referring to, is what we call a bead lock on a real off Road tire or like a racing tire that keeps the tires from spinning on the rims. The fake rims have the bead lock screws for looks but ( they are just plastic) they don't serve any real purpose. And yes, the truck is a 4 x 4 TRD sport with the JBL package

I missed the Steeley's part of the question. Yes, as long as you're bolt pattern matches because Toyota has a five and six bolt pattern. I believe the six bolt is for 4 x 4's and five bowl is for 2 x 4's. And I believe the bolt pattern is 5 1/2 inches for the 6 bolt configuration. Mine came off of an 2009 SR5

In a little more detail, the screws are short and stubby and the rim is predrilled, the screws go through the edge of the rim and dig into the sidewall of the tire holding the tire in place from spinning from either Horse power or just very good grip

This is how it looks with the lift, ProComp 7089 rims, and B.F. Goodrich 285/75/16s.

No matter what... Is a matter of opinion. I like the "stock" 16" wheels on my OR. Anything else seems like a waste of money unless someone needs a specific wheel/tire combo for a specific purpose.

In my case... The entire OR package is a "waste" since there is no way I am taking a $40,000 truck intentionally off road and ruining it. 10 years from now... Maybe.

Arguing that your choices are better than others is nothing more than trolling for comments and Internet arguments.

By the way. Your truck color is ugly. Quicksand is the best because it's faster and boosts HP. Your wheels are ugly and without soul. I win because my opinion is superior to yours.

I agree with the "taste" and "opinion" sides, but I'm damn glad I'm not the only one who thinks like @pino

I'd say you're only partly correct in the case of garbage wheels.

Arguing aestetics is a waste of time. You're right, it's all subjective opinion. What is NOT OPINION is the fact that the majority of these garbage-looking wheels with fake bolts are built with "style" and profit margin in mind..... not build quality. They're often dramatically heavy and their strength tolerances aren't an improvement either. Those two qualities are amongst the most important qualifiers in any wheel decision. And because of all the complicated shapes, nooks, crannies, fake bolts, star patterns, etc they're also a miserable pain in the ass to keep clean. I mean the very fact that a wheel company adds FAKE BOLTS around the lip should be alarming. Why do that? Theres a lot of pride, quality, and money wrapped into these trucks. Why put on knockoff/cheap/heavy wheels? It's not like they're even less expensive than quality companies either. I'm scared to think what some people pay around here for garbage wheels.
