I was letting the FIPG dry, aka not driving the truck. It was on plastic ramps. I wanted to get it off the ramps so I could align it. So I pushed it off the ramps by hand, but my drivers door caught the wall next to it, dented the door, and bent the hinges haha. Picked up a spare door from a friend, all I have to do is get it painted and swap my stuff over to it.

It was ok Christmas Day too. So I was a tad pissed. But luckily one of my best friends has a parts truck. So I picked up a door the following day.
    This is my life haha.

after last weekend.. it finally sunk in.. I want to go that route.

Like I said..idk what or when it triggered.. but my OCD and trying to baby the truck, kinda (not fully) went out the window. maybe its the more consistent trips we have been doing, getting out and using the truck more, etc.. but I the scratches dont bother me. imperfections dont bother me (as much) and trying to keep it simple and clean.. meh.. i want to build it and use it more. I still baby it tho.. try to avoid the scratches and damage.. but if they happen.. while out on a trail adventuring.. oh well. The inside and everything will still be taken care of and be all puuurty.. but im wanting to do bumpers. 3 hoop front. swing out rear. Prinsu roof rack. then more gear.. have it all planned and organized in my head. :)

Plus some routine maintenance on the paint goes a long way for keeping it in good shape

about time?? lol you know more than anyone that the truck has been wheeled this whole time.. it will still be a "pretty boy" truck.. its still a $30k truck thats my daily driver as well as my pride and joy. not gonna completely just give up on it. it wills till be detailed, all shiny, etc. just more capable and if and when the shit goes down.. i wont be AS upset. lol

exactly.. which.. its about due. after the new year/birthday Im gonna get it fully detailed inside and out.

oh i know. i wasnt getting offended in any way. come on man.. you know me better than that. :D

and thats what i wanted to do.. keep it clean and classy.. but wheel it. its just too stressful trying to keep that balance.. cant have both really I've been learning. I tried for years.. with decent success.. but its to that point where I need to stop one or the other.

yeah.. I mean to a point it is.. but too much work and anxiety that way.

i mean.. in the back of my mind.. I would still love to start fresh with a new truck.. not touch the interior, stereo, exhaust, lighting, etc.. just leave it all clean and stock. then just do my Kings, armor and gear/RTT and be done.

    idk about pristine. lol

so slow at work today.. been window shopping on Pelfrey and other websites.

think I have my plan all set. bumpers, which options, roof rack, lighting, the wiring and switches for said wiring. I'm wanting to start over fresh with my wiring.. rip out all the old crap, and redo everything with one harness/switch panel. then do all my lighting and accessories at the same time. this obviously wont happen for a while.. will need to slowly gather lighting and wiring parts.. then do it all at once.

right? should be easier than that tho.. going to try and make it as plug and play as possible. A Switch Pro and some wiring clean up under the hood should make it simple and clean.

Sorry man, I meant to add this > ,
I'm still building mine up to the level Josh's truck is at!
One of the inspirations for my Trooper!

BAMF has been having a sale lately, today they have sliders for $280 , that's a great price!
I was checking on an order, putting in a behind the grill light bar!
Since I added sliders I'm not so worried about getting damage to my truck!
