Ball joints wear out over time but so do uniballs from what i have heard people are replacing u uniballs yearly but ball joints in ucas never need to be replaced and seldom do Lca ball joints

Are these ball joints sealed? I don't see a rubber gasket on them... in other news my kid is allergic to egg. It's been an interesting Christmas.

I'm going to run them in Canada knowing that I have to replace them every 1-2 years. They only suck if you expect to get longer than that out of them. Performance parts often require more maintenance.

Just a good thing to mention is to keep an eye on these in cold climates too. If you rip the rubber in the cold all that gasket will do is trap water and dirt in the ball joint. That's the same reason people don't run uniball caps here. They actually do more damage then they help. Just something to keep an eye on. Guys here usually get 60k out of stock front end GM components so I'd guess that's what these arms will get before they need a quick swap out.

Luckily just the first kind. We took her to the hospital though because she was wheezing a bit.

Do they clear the coils at full droop on Kings extended travel setup? Pictures would be appreciated :).

Any rubbing on tires or other components when at the 3" lift setting?

I too am still waiting to install with King shocks. :(
I FINALLY got a special tool today  to help make adjustments to my shocks. I never did adjust them for more height out of the box. I just installed and looks like I can get at least another inch of lift. Weather permitting, I will try to adjust and install my JBA's next week.

I am interested in your JBA UCAs. What is the difference between STD and HD versions? I added them the comparison list on your site but could not figure out how to actually view the comparison. The HD looks beefier but seems to have less room - maybe it's just photos.

Also, your Adjust-a-strut mentions 1.5, 2.5 or 4" lifts. Does it not work for 3" lift?
    I'm a noob.

I am waiting on a 2016 DCLB OR. And want to do a 3" lift. Thanks in advance for your reply.

Holy moley, trying to get the UCA bolts out and not having much luck. Any tips or tricks to getting them out? Used channel locks to bend the fender out but still not enough. UGH!

You need to move the sheet metal outta the way. People make this into a bigger deal than it needs to be. I used some 16" channel locks and it was literally 5 minutes worth of work. Force is required. :D Don't bother bending it back either. Just leave it. Once moved outta the way, move the ABS wiring clips out of their holes and push the bolt out until it gets suck, then go to the engine bay. See what's blocking the bolt, you should be able to see what's going on at that point.

The passenger side was more of a pain, and I had to move the AC lines outta the way, just pop them out of the retention clips and gently massage them outta the way.
