Always on power outlet relay - *modified*

    I went ahead and did always on power outlets in my 2015 Tacoma.

    I did it by soldering the circuit closed in the relay and reinstalling it.

    This by far, is the cleanest method to get this done without adding new charge ports or adding jump wires.

    I have an extra relay that I soldered up for this modification.

    Here are the mandatory pictures:


    Minor scuff from using needle nose pliers when pulling it out. (it was stubborn)

    I've had a few of you guys ask me about these.

    We can do this the following ways:

    1. I send you a soldered relay. You send me yours. $20 shipped priority mail. Remember, priority mail flat rate box is $6.00, plus the time to drive out to the post office etc.

    2. Some of you may want to keep your original relay. My dealer stocks them for $30 each, plus $20 for labor and priority mail shipping (shipping is $6.00 flat rate box), so I am charging you $14 to get these made and driving to the post office to mail them off. $50 total.

    3. Camelback toyota has them for ~$13 each, let's say $15. They offer free shipping on orders over $150. So if I can get 15 - 20 people commmited for free shipping, you can keep YOUR relay and ill send you a modified relay for $35 shipped priority mail.

    yes. you just have to get to your fuse box under the steering wheel area.

    I am waiting on @Rtres09 to send me his core before i do another one.
