what's the story behind the picnic tables?

 

oh man...

the short version is, I didn't see it, snuck up on me and I kind drove up it.

The better version is, We were at Ocala, it was a warm summer day, I was distracted (probably John W giving me that look he gives to college girls during bike week), and I took my foot off the gas to park/pull into/out of (I forgot) a parking space at the camp site and drove up onto the bench part of the picnic table. In a panic I just went with it and the truck kinda fell off the side. Before anyone has an attack, we stopped and fixed it, , just jacked it back into place with a high lift. After that Jason brought caution tape to the meets and would use half the roll on any picnic table within 200' of my campsite as a precaution. My defense the picnic tables there are painted green, the grass is green, it was camouflaged. I'm sure I'm not the first this has happened to.

Ocala was also where I had my tires at 75PSI....took 30min to air down, good times.

 

At one of the ocala meets, buddy o pal just ran one over without even knowing hahaha

 

I thought it was a rock or something. I 100% didn't know it was a picnic table until John got on the CB and said "dude, do you know what you just did". Again, moment of panic, distraction. ADD in full force.

 

so that is where the dent is from on the bumper?

 

Thats from a rock on the graveyard side. Another sneaky part of the forest.
