I want these wheels! Can I be nosy and ask how much you paid? I see em on ebay from 700-1000+ and I'm not sure what a good price would be. I'm looking to take my current wheels and put snow tires on them and use these for a general all terrain. Did you purchase a second set of TPMS sensors as well?

My dealer sold them to me at $175 a piece. I bought new sensors and lug nuts. The lug nuts are $170 for a set. I think the sensors were around $75 a piece.

265/70/17 I really don't know about the fuel mileage with stock wheels and tires. Had these put on before I drove it off the lot. I know it gets better than my Tundra.....;-)

We pretty much have the same truck...mine just has some more bells and whistles. Been a bit disappointed with fuel economy. Getting about 18.8 avg with 1400 mi on truck now and I try to go easy on the gas, keep it around 65 to 70 on interstate....even when speed limit is 75 and people are doing 85 + I just keep in the right lane and let people pass me. I want aftermarket tires but really dont want to muck up the fuel economy worse than it already is. Love the combo you went with but I'd probably go for a 265/65R17 for my application.

Smitty, have you taken it up the 17 to Flagstaff, or maybe up 87 to Payson? Pretty much flat here in the Valley and just wondering if you've had it up any grades and how she did.

Also, when I had my '13 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4, I installed Nitto TG's in 265/70R17 and lost only 1 mpg. I was happy with that considering the tires made the truck look much better. Just FYI.

I have taken it up to San Carlos Reservation hunting on Wednesday and the previous Saturday we took to Sonoita/Patagonia hunting. Averaged 19mpgs on both trips. Not really carrying much load maybe an extra 300lbs of gear and dogs. Thing is when you go up and then come back down things balance out...maybe got 16mpg heading uphill...then on return I was averaging 23...so the balance is about 19.

Sam Carlos was a total mudhole on Wednesday. That top 3 or 4 inches of soil was just like wet clay...what a mess it made. Truck did surprisingly well in it with stock tires. Don't think anything except a mud terrain would have made much difference in that stuff. I tried out the locker and it definitely helped too...never had an issue with getting stuck. One guy has a 4x4 Ecoboost f150. Another guy had a Chevy 2500 Silverado 4x4. They both were close to getting stuck. The little tacoma handled great comparatively.

Looks like you had a good time. I had never heard of Sonoita or Patagonia until you mention them. I've been here not quite 2 years and still learning. Great mud pics, btw. Were you happy with the tranny characteristics, assuming you have an auto, anyway?

Yes an auto. Arizona has some beautiful countryside if youre willing to go out there and explore. Sonoita and Parker Canyon Lake area are about 3 hours from Phoenix....45 minutes from Tucson.
