    Same as everybody else...
I've got a gas grill that's older then dirt, I really like either old school charcoal or my pit that I dug in the backyard. No matter whichever you like it's hard to beat food grilled outside.

Different types of meats/foods taste better cooked on charcoal and others taste better using gas, IMO. And some are fantastic when slow cooked in a smoker box. So I have all three. :)

Sn*w, it is just another %^&@ four letter word... 21 degrees with strong winds and 8 inches on ground and still falling, no end in sight. Girlfriend had to be at the lab this morning and her Subaru doesn't sit high enough to clear the snow on the roads. So I took her in, long trip today. First mile out from the driveway to the main road isn't plowed yet. Not that it is much better after that, packed so slicker than owl chit. And downtown was a zoo. They say people from Mn. are Minnesota nice. Well until you put them wheel of a vehicle. In the snow. Going or coming to work. Sigh. Have to pick up my son in a couple of hours and repeat the adventure for a Doctor's appointment. Is it too early for a drink?!

 I used to panic when I got below 500 pounds of charcoal. I'm down to 380 lbs.right now but with the gas grill now not so worried. My old charbroil limped along for ~10 years and I seldom used it, mainly the weber charcoal kettle. Have the rotisserie for it and do a lot of turkeys and chickens that way. The new Weber gas grill is starting to break in nicely and develop good flavor. I did a splathcock trukey on the gas a couple of months ago but was disappointed. Going back to the charcoal and rotisserie for birds. Have a smoker for fish but don't like to mix fish and other meats when it comes to smoking. Once I finally get a Weber Smokey Mountain for other meats I will feel complete :D

You would think with the Vikings having a good year, the people up there would be in a good mood and driving courteously. ;) Maybe they're nervous about the big game coming up.

Someday the Vikes and Bills will meet in the Superbowl. And one of them will finally win it! Hopefully the Bills LOL. At least Bills South (Carolina) are doing good this year, really wanted to see them go undefeated though. I watched them build the stadium in Charlotte from the loading dock of the Federal Building where the Military Entrance Processing Station was. Bill Poulan left the Bills to help form the team and did a heck of a job.

Go safe bud! Thank god for the Taco!! All this grilling and smoking talk about good eats is interesting!! Not to change the topic but want to share my new experience with a different coffee I've recently tryed. It's called Yuban and is roasted in cali. I can only find it here at Sam's. I never heard of it before. I'm really liking it and recommend trying it !Everyone have a good day!

My cardiologist would slap me upside my head if I ever admitted to eating a meal that even loosely resembled that one.

Having said that, if I'm lucky enough to live into my mid-70s, screw the cardiologist, I'll eat that for breakfast, a banana split for lunch, and a whole package of Oreos for dinner.

Hyman recently had a full medical check up. When he returned 3 weeks later after the exhaustive lab tests were complete, his doctor said he was doing "fairly well" for his age.
Hyman was obviously a little concerned about that comment and so asked his doctor "Do you think I'll live to be 80, doctor?"
He replied, "Well, do you smoke or drink beer?"
"Oh no", Hyman replied, "I've never done either."
Then the doctor asked, "Do you eat grilled steaks or barbequed ribs?
Hyman replied, "No, I've heard that red meat is very unhealthy."
"Do you spend a lot of time in the sun, like playing golf?" asked the doctor.
    "No I don't," Hyman replied.
Then the doctor asked, "Do you gamble, drive fast cars, or mess with women?"
"No," said Hyman, "I've done none of those things."
The doctor looked at Hyman and said, "Then why do you want to live to be 80?"

Hahaha... funny and so true! You really do have to balance living for today with maintaining your health so you can enjoy the future. Just like when it comes to money, balance spending to enjoy your life with saving for the future, just in case you live to be 80.

Old joke....Doctor asks me if I was drinking, I said "Sure, I have two glasses of wine every night after dinner". Doc replies "How many dinners do you have a day".

Slid into the mailbox post today with the truck. Nice crease and paint scratched up. For some reason I don't mind it when off road heading into my favorite fishing or hunting spot. But the driveway?! Did I mention sn*w is a 4 letter word... :frusty:

Ugh, that sucks! Probably not enough damage to worry with insurance... likely not more than your collision deductible amount anyway. Yeah, I have never been a fan of snow either. Not sure why I couldn't have been born in San Diego. :notsure:

Dang, that really sucks @Cold Iron .
I hope I don't slide into my new mailbox post that just built. 6" X 6" post set into 24" of concrete.
If I hit it, I'm pretty sure it will be more than a dent.
