Good read Collin! Very clean work. Know anything about strip LED lights? I want some in my cap for nighttime camp needs but the whole cut and solder then make your own connectors kinda throws me off

 

I actually used to be sponsored by a company called HitLights. they have just about everything LED related. http://www.hitlights.com/ check out their 5050 LED strips. they are the cut and solder type, however, under the LED accessories tab, you can get clamp connectors that take away the solder portion. so all you have to do is cut to length, and clip on the wire lead.

They set me up with their sleeved waterproof version of the 5050 to test out as rock lights. they'd be plenty bright inside a shell, and you really wouldn't need the waterproof ones either. wire up a 120v outlet in the bed, and I believe their AC light strips can hook do a dimmer module. would be nice for camping, when you need a little light, but don't want to kill your night vision.

Chip said he talked to someone not sure and they couldn't do it because of the multi color but might be worth a shot if enough people were interested

 

Those guys (Far North By Design) are my favorite decal guys. I'm curious what their response is.

 

My taco is not TRD

 

I dont know If I could pull off that exact decal Im pretty sure I could give it a try but Its printed vinyl so I would have to order the vinyl printed up. Which would be extra.

 

Neither is my 4Runner or half the people on this sight and they still have some sort of Trd decal

 

All toyotas can have TRD things on them. Its just a parts division.

I have a big TRD decal on the skid plate on my base model. Who cares?!



Plus, I know they can do SR5 instead of TRD if you would request it.

Does anybody know what these two bolts are for?

 

I think they are to mount your BAMF tailgate CB antenna bracket.

 

They bolt that metal piece to the composite bed.
