    Hello Everyone,

I am new to the forums, and I am really interested in get the 2016 Tacoma TRD Sport or the 2015 F150 2.7L 4x4. I was wondering what is the real world mpg (mostly city) y'all are getting on your 16 Tacoma? I drive mostly around town and not much on the highway and I never pull a trailer. I have tried looking for information on real world mpg, but only MPG numbers I am finding is for highway and pulling a trailer. Thank you for your help I really appreciate it.

My offroad with LT265/75's, wheel spacers, and leveling kit gets 10-13 in the city in stop and go traffic

I have a 16 sport 4x4 dbl cb 3 weeks old and 2200 miles on it. Total average 80% hyw is 21.6. I cleared it and wanted to separate and ran it 100 miles on hyw last week all hyw 65 to 70 and got 23.6 on that 100 mile drive. Then I refueled set computer and drove 60 miles all city and refueled. got 18.4 on that 60 miles. I have v6 auto. stock wheels an tires. If you want mpg do not lift or put bigger tires on your trucks and stay with hyw or m/s type tires for best fuel.

my opinion is between these two trucks mpg will not be big difference either way. If you like full size and need the room or just like the big truck get it because it wont be 2 mpg difference wither way on these too trucks. Now go Ecodiesel ram and you will get about 22 in the city and 29 hyw. friend has one and it is great plus rides good.

City MPG's suck for me. Out here where I work, traffic engineers tend to program traffic signals so that you keep hitting red lights. Going from a dead stop back up to 40/50 MPH is a MPG drainer. Even when I'm in heavy stop and go traffic, I get better mileage.

man that sucks. Most city driving here isn't bad at all and I get a solid 18 to 19 all city all day long. My Tundra got 14 city but where you live it would of maybe got 11 it sounds like. I get a solid 18 to 19 city only on the 16 Tacoma where I live but traffic isn't that bad and lights don't hold up that long.

Yeah I get like 10-15 on city streets out here. On the freeway cruising at 65-70 mph, I get low 20's easily.

I have the TRD Sport DCSB 4x4 AT, and in my hilly city driving, I am getting around 18-19 MPG. That goes up to around 22-23 on the freeway.

The 2016 MPG thread means little to the OP asking specifically about city driving.

That thread is almost entirely MPG averages, including highway miles.
