Think the AR-10 is a bit of overkill for a truck gun? I have the AR-15 in there right now

I like Nikon that's what's on the 700. I want more zoom though the person that had it before me only went a 3-9 x 40

Tacoma rotor vs Fiero rotor. after seeing the size of the rotor on my wife's Honda Fit, I'm actually surprised how big of a diameter rotor is used on the Fiero. then again, the Tacoma rotor is a good 2 to 3 times thicker than the Fieros.

Alright, since apparently every member that lives in MD is a gun nut which is great since this damn state is so anti-gun, I have some questions.

I used to own a large variety of shotguns, rifles and hand guns but after Sandy Hook I sold them all except the shot guns for some serious cash.

I'm looking to get back in to it and want to start with a pistol and two revolvers. I want a pistol for me for the range, a revolver for home defense and a revolver for the wife for the range.

    Suggestions?

Revolvers - you can't go wrong with a used S&W, I have a mod 19 that is one of my favorites.

Pistols - Glocks are like Tocomas if they're taken care of they'll run for a good long time. I have a S&W Shield as my EDCG.

looks similar in nature to my stainless 44 magnum Dan Wesson.

8'' barrel, on a 8.5x11 sheet of paper for scale.
