I'm really interested in getting out in the snow. I've been to Tahoe but never really taken the truck out to push around some powder.

At the moment, I don't have any recovery gear besides my trusty shovel and some muscle. My truck is on almost brand new A/Ts. Do you think I'd spend most of the day stuck and be a burden if there's a decent amount of snowfall? I'd like to get out in the woods and huck a couple of snowballs at some fockers!!

^ I have a winch and most of us have tow straps & shackles. The stock front recovery point worked well, but you may need a rear one. If you have a tow package, get one of these and you should be fine.

Most of the guys had AT's on the last run and they did fine.

This implies that you get to UTC from Pollock Pines, not true.
Drive to Georgetown, then go due east for about 20 miles, past Stumpy Meadows reservoir.

If you don't know where Georgetown is, Google it or look at an actual map :D

Dam I was looking forward to going this sat. They have been getting snow in small amounts this week. Next week there are saying higher snow levels. Hopefully it doesn't rain and melt all the lower snow.

Put me down as s maybe.
