When I was in the Marines, one of my roomates was named James Bass. He was from Clinton and some of us went home with him one weekend. I think he's in FLA now. He would be around 45 now.

The 275/70r16 are slightly shorter, i think than 265/75.

I am considering 265/75r16 with spacers. Just want better acceleration and breaking than 285's. Thoughts?

I will probably go 265/75/16 when I get tires. I like jeffs st maxx in this size, look real good and beefy, but heavier.

Thanks. I will check out the ST Maxx.

Completely makes sense. I am trying to stay some what cheap on the long run, but still get what I need. Hoping a moderate lift, 265/75r16, and spacers can be a happy medium.

I wouldn't go with a steel co2 tank, I found my aluminum one, full, with my regulator for 50 bucks.. and if you go with a on board compressor, get a puma 12v.. do some research on it, there's a few threads on tacoma world, some on pirate..

I've never had any huge issues out of my regulator, it will get some ice on the outside after about 8 tires maybe (35s and bigger) or running an air impact really hard, I've actually had more issues out of the cheapo coil hose I use freezing up than my regulator

THIS. I've had to trim/fold/retrim so much with my 285/75/16s, but unfortunately my TRD Trail Teams have shitty BS, which makes the process even more annoying....sigh.....oh well. At least I like how they look
