WP_20151229_15_32_45_Pro.jpg Ditched the trd stickers prior to install, will post more pics when I get daylight again. Also of note, bed divider still works with no trimming.

    That looks great!

I have a question for you on the super sport. Do those windows get much air flow into the bed? On my '14 I went with the Rebel so I could get the sliding windows because I keep my dog in the bed at times, and I did not want it to get to hot in there. But I think the super sport looks much better.

I am going to guess this will have less ventilation, but I am not 100% sure. The opening on this one with the windows popped out is pretty small compared to sliders.

I swore off dark colors years ago, but that dark grey is amazing. The cap and no stickers take it over the top. That could be my new mistress right there.

Well done. Definitely want to see more pics.

The Rebel for my 2016 White TRD OR AC arrives some day this coming week.

Did you notice any improvement on gas milage getting a shell on there?

Where did you get the canopy and do you recommend the shop? I'm leaning towards a Leer but it's as much about the dealer as it is the brand.

Superhawk in Marysville, they are the best. They carry snugtop and century(same as leer). I bought a leer from another dealer in everett for my second gen...amateurs compared to folks at Superhawk.

Thanks for the info...I saved their website for future reference.

There won't be any MPG improvement from a canopy. The weight drinks more gas anytime your accelerating. Plus, trucks are designed these days for maximum efficiency with the open bed. The aero is probably worse with the canopy.

I definitely had an improvement in my hwy mpg after my snug top install on my second gen. I drove for years without one and always computed my average mpg as well as kept my scan Guage as accurate as they can be. No doubt about it, I got 1-2mpg better on average. My 5ft bed I'm sure has different aerodynamic properties than larger beds. The myth buster episode used 8ft beds.

Are you using your Scanguage in your '16 Tacoma? I've taken it out of my '02 (used it a lot ). Deciding on installing it in the '16.
