Good set of rear springs

I need help with all you guys and gals out there..I am looking for a good set of rear springs for my 09 taco. would like to get 3" of lift and a little more weight carrying capacity than stock. now i know most people like their truck to be level but i like the rear to be higher than the front, so when it,s loaded it sits level... any help would be great. thanks

 

Look up the dakar springs from ome, should work great for u

Custom Deaver 10 leafs

 

For your needs, I would go custom personally.
You want more than the Dakar pack lifts really, plus the additional weight capacity.

When you order a custom pack you get to pick exactly those two numbers.
I ordered a custom pack from Alcans springs, which is who cuts our AAL for us, which is actually my second leaf pack from them. Extremely happy!

 

allpro's are better. i have a deaver 10 pack and it is on it way out.

 

I currently have the All-pro 3" but the load capacity sucks. The OP wanted more load capacity than stock so a custom set of Deaver/Alcan might be a better choice.

 

alcan's maybe, deavers suck for load capacity to in my opinion, put some adjustible fox's on it and it will be like riding on bricks

 

What don't you like about yours?

I had mine rebuilt since I bought them after someone had them for a year. The minute I installed them the bushing started squeeking. I"m pretty sure it's the bushing but maybe it's the leafs.

 

Baja....let me know when you are selling your Deavers I have a friend thats local that has been looking for a used set.

 

All Pros are great. But if you want to load and haul stuff they probably arent for you. Although I have had 900 pounds of concrete in my bed. Did just fine. Just get Timbren bumpstops.

 

I have contacted alcan for a price on a custom set. I don,t mind the rough ride,but i hate it when i drive my grizzly in the back and it drops down 4 inches. when i make a decision on the leafs i,ll let you all know what i end up with...Its always good to ask before you buy especially when most of you have all ready done the mods..Thanks guys

 

Ive heard the OMEs provide better load cap with added height

 

still going to need shocks after i decide on springs

 

Dont get OME's. Too soft. 5100's or if you got money adjustable Fox's are nice and a good application for you.

 

looking at the timbren system also.....The problem is i,m looking at way too much stuff right now

Oh ok, what problems do you have with yours? Do yours squeak like crazy too?

 

not anymore, go to lowes and buy some lube, it is a white can with a globe on it, green cap. just seperate the leafs and spray. i use that stuff for the uniballs and everything else. no problems with the deavers, did not care for the ride but maybe i am picky.
