Sadly it wasn't plug and play. Had to run separate wires for the temp and compass. For power and illumination I just tapped into couple wires from the rear view mirror connector.

Labor was $500 including install of coils and reset Bilstein preload, install UCAs, install add a leaf and rear shocks, install Daystar airbag cup bottom thingies, Mount and balance tires including taking the TPMS out of my stock rims and putting them in new rims, then remounting my stock tires on stock rims, and alignment. (lifetime rotation and one year alignment)

Rims and tires around $2400, lift components around $1000

No not yet. A 10" sub and an amp will be in the spring. I have 2 marine speakers that go into the bed cubbies too. Sound is still pretty badass with my Fosgate 6x9's and 5 1/4's in the 4 doors

I imagine, i have a sundown 8 on the backseat and stock doors and it sounds pretty great with all 4 open on a good song, i plan to upgrade to infinity kappa components in the doors and run to a 4 channel in the future.

Not today, and not even on the tacoma...but my wife got me a bluetooth reciever/transmitter for my commuter car, so now my "ancient" 2004 tsx is up to speed with the tacoma. I can use the phone hands free and play music the same way. Very slick set up, even has a USB input to play anything you can hook to it. I mention it here because there may be somebody, who like myself, enjoys the stock look to the inside of certain cars as opposed to putting an aftermarket stereo just to get bluetooth. This is the company she bought from: http://gromaudio.com/store/all-toyn.html, super simple install.
