Why were they driving a van in the forest?

We prolly won't go tomorrow, as wifey did a bunch of shots with friends tonite and had to be put to bed. I may sneak out super early, but am weighing the consequences of angry wife left alone on Xmas morn. Tough choice.....

Since u r so far off, maybe we plan u come up for the nite, then we all leave early next morn. We have 2 nice guest rooms, and lots of food and booze!

That's what I thought....why were they in the forest! But that's actually right on 410. Guess it's been bad for falling trees this year and yesterday was no joke.

We will get up and ski together. I don't normally mind the drive but I usually make a day of it. Half a day makes for a long drive for only a few hours.

I've actually been wanting to try the roof top tent out in the snow. So might try a whole weekend deal one of these days.

Went up to Crystal on Sunday. Snow was great! Called it a day after breaking a rib. Going to be a few weeks before I get back up there.

That would be awesome! Usually get up there a bit early cuz I like to park close, but we can arrange meet places and times of you are later. I'll pm you my number. Hope you can make it. Hasn't snowed much the last couple days so prolly mostly groomers unless ther are some stashed in south back or north way.

Itll be my first day up so Im not to worried if its just groomer. And i tend to prefer to get there early as well. Im normally a get there 8-815 type guy. Give ya time to get boots on, go piss, get lift ticket (well for me) and all that before it opens

It was equally as awful at Stevens today. Had to park in the lot a mile down the hill and wait for an hour for the shuttle up but after that it really wasn't too bad on the hill with only a few minutes wait on the busiest lifts... Ok it took 45 minutes to get lunch too

I went up to Stevens with my wife yesterday. It was PACKED, but mostly novices (at best). We did 2 runs at my wife's pace off of Hogsback and waited 15 minutes in the singles line both times.

The upper lifts were virtually empty (that's an exaggeration) which saved the day. Found some great snow on the north (left) side of Tye Mill.
