Are Tacomas under Toyotacare?

I was under the impression that all Toyota vehicles received Toyotacare but when I enter in my VIN, it says it doesn't qualify. Is there something I'm missing?

 

All '15 models came with 24 months of ToyotaCare. Don't see why '16s would not

 

My dealer told me it has 24 months of service and to bring it in every 6 months, regardless of the mileage.

 

If you just purchased the vehicle, it can take a few days/weeks to show up on Toyota's website.

 

Tacomas are covered. It covers 24 months regular scheduled maintenance. Before you get some bad information passed your way, they will not change your oil at the six month 5000 mile service. Oil changes are 10000 miles or 12 months , unless under certain driving conditions. Also, no more breakin oil change needed. They will change it early, but you will have to pay for that.

 

I changed my oil today at 4K under toyotacare. They told me I would have to use my 10k oil change credit or they'd charge me.

Funny thing though, the oil change sticker says to come back in 5K more miles.

 

Not true, I get mine done every 5k as per Toyota spec. Did my 5k in Sept and just did my 10k a week ago. I know I drive a lot

You had 5k miles on a 2016 in September? That's a wild road trip there, when did you get your truck?

 

MY dealer used one up at 1250 miles. They don't care when I use them, AVG 450 a month I will be on the six month plan going forward

 

My Toyotacare plan states 24 months of regular maintenance which includes and only includes two regular oil changes or one synthetic oil change and two tire rotations. I'm not restricted on when I get the oil Change(s). As my Tacoma already has synthetic oil installed, I will only use synthetic. From what I get from that is, I will only get one free oil change over the next two years. All others will be at my cost.

Toyotacare normal operation oil changes are every 10,000. All the literature I've seen excludes maintenance on special operating conditions.

I had my 5k oil change and service a week ago under Toyotacare. They called me to bring it in and I just signed Toyotacare papers to leave with it.
