That whole side of the game I haven't done, as of now I've only had about 8000 caps total and never more than 3200 on me at one time.

 

This is true, however my overall food production and stores stuffer from time to time due to killing settlers for sleeping in my bed.

I am quite curious about this myself.

 

I haven't used any melee weapons yet. Maybe it's time to bust out my shishcabob or ripper

 

You don't need money when you can kill and loot.

 

I like the settlement building / maintenance part of the game

 

Bunker Hill. I had to look it up since I just restarted. They will only swear allegiance to you once you hit a certain point in the story line.

I just hated how, towards level 20ish, the missile launcher only did about double the damage of a good rifle. The Fatman was still plenty good though.

 

Ah , I discovered Bunker Hill but haven't explored there at all cause I was in the middle of another mission , I'll have to go back and check it out

 

I like the quad launcher cause you can squeeze off 4 missiles semi auto stylr

 

Once you get into the settlements it's not hard to carry around 10,000 caps. I regularly hit that at about level 40. When purified water is literally leaking from your pockets it's easy to amass great wealth.

I doubt they meant the water purifier to be abused as it is.

 

My next mission is to go to Bunker Hill

 

First time I used an atomic was when I employed Big Boy to lob warheads onto foreheads over Covenant's wall.

I don't have a shishkabob yet and I am unhappy.

 

Yeah, make sure one you've hit the point of no return on a faction before going there. I think, not 100 percent sure, that after that they will bow to your greatness. Every 24 hours I think 200 caps is generated by that settlement automatically.

 

You can't take advantage of the settlements cap production until you are almost finished a storyline though...

 

There's a Fat Man that shoots 2 at a time. It's great

 

That's now third on the list after Castle & this island everyone was talking about.

Obviously I will leave death and destruction in my wake.

 

I make 200 caps every day in 3 of my other settlements now

Hey @OZ-T, since I learned the water trick from you, do you know what multiplier applies to the water purifiers? I've figured out my total population across the map and I'm not getting near enough water on my old play through for how many purifiers I have. There must be some sort of multiplier or something else I'm missing.
