Got my first 5000 mile service done today...and I just sent my first payment. Yeah, I do that much driving. But on another note, this is more of a "what did I do to my GARAGE today" but I wanted a quick, cheap, easy to move way to help me park the long bed double cab in the garage without hitting any walls or fear of not pulling in far enough. It's angled because that's how I'm parking it in the garage for now. Hey, it's not pretty, but it works.

I use a tennis ball with a string tied through it hanging from the ceiling touching my front windshield when I'm in all the way in. I've used it for years. I'm sure you could do it off of the back window also

Is the bed rail for the front a Toyota part from Amazon? I looked on there but can't find it. Been wanting one myself.

I have used the ball / string trick in the past, but my wife kept slapping it with her hand as a joke until it pulled it out of the ceiling. Plus if she drives my truck, there's no way she can "forget" to stop at the tennis ball this time (yes, I had to repair the wall where she backed the quad cab Dodge Ram in too far)

With the 13" Longer Long Bed, I'm thankful to have a large garage.

Ha! I have a little blue hippo on a string hanging down. When the hippos feet rest on my windshield I'm good. It's a tight fit about 3 inches front and back.

I've had the body shop paint mine too. Now I know what my set-up will look like tomorrow when I pick it up.

I plasti-dipped mines. It came out kind of a flat black color which I like. Best of all, it only took one can that cost about $10.

You and me both, when they built my house, at the last second they turn the garage 90° and screwed everything up

Probably because they removed the retainer pegs on the new gen. Looking at my 2015 right now and it has the same retainers on both driver and pass. But looking at the new 2016 it doesn't have those studs

Nice! My garage is half that size and with the shelves and washer/dryer it won't fit one car. You'd think back in the 50's when people drove big ass boats they would be a little wider.

You mind me asking how much the body shop charged for painting your grill? Thanks
