Tailgate Emblem Measurements

Anyone hapen to have some measurements on where the emblems go? i have been debadged for a while but want a change. So I am painting them black and putting them back on. Doesnt have to be exact. But close. Thanks

I just ran out and measured real quick. Mine are as follows:

Toyota
Tacoma...............................................V6 SR5

The Tacoma and V6 SR5 strings are 5 1/2" up measured from the top of the bumper. The Toyota above Tacoma is apx. 1/2" spacing.
Both sets of emblems are apx. 1 1/4" in from the side of the gate (measured to the pointiest part of the T in Tacoma and the middle of the lower curve in 5). The gap between V6 and SR5 is 1".

Awesome! Thank you so much. Rep for you. I want to put the v6 and sr5 ones back on too. I know the height will be the same. If you could measure from side of tailgate(should be the same) and gap between v6 and sr5 that would be perfect! I appreciate it.

I'm not sure what you're asking? The measurements are there for both sides of the tailgate (both the toyota tacoma side, and the v6 sr5 side)

 

Ahhh gotcha! Should have read it twice. Thanks man. I hope to put them on by wednesday. Still have to paint them. I will post pics.

Why go through putting them all back on?

I just put "Taco" (black) back on

After all it is mine, not Toyota's (mine & the bank's)

I have had them off for about 8 months. I love the look. But I think Black badges look sick on white, black, and silver tacomas. I already have my door "tacoma" emblems black. It will look sick. Trust me.

I think black badges stands out more than debadging. Just another thing to turn heads.
