So I picked up this bike on 12/28/15 it's a 1973 Honda CB750 I've always loved the older cafe racer style bikes and I've been looking for one to buy for a while now. This is my first bike but I have some experience with motorcycles
This build is mainly so I can keep track of everything I do and see it progress on here
Also seek help from anyone here that might be knowledgeable in motorcycles
Hopefully it's ready to go for the summer I plan to do a lot while I have time in the winter
    Thanks and Enjoy

    MODS
    Ledaut exhaust wrap
    Clubman handle bars

Here was my Yamaha XS750 I did a few years ago. Was a very relaxing, rewarding project that I sold a couple years ago to start a bobber build.

Was debating on a bobber or cafe build but I like the cafe racer look a lot more
Maybe one day I'll start a bobber I don't really ever want to get rid of this one but we'll see in the future

Ordered somethings for the bike today
    New mirrors (doesn't have any)
    Smaller rear brake light
Exhaust wrap (the exhaust looks crappy right now and don't want to buy a new one)
    New air pods
    New grips
Should have it in about 2 weeks or so to begin working on the bike

Started working on the bike a bit today started with the exhaust
Looked very rough and I don't have the money to buy a new one

so rather than sand it down and paint it I bought some exhaust wrap (also I like the look of exhaust wrap) turned out really good but I'm just short of what I needed so going to pick up some wrap tomorrow and finish her up this weekend

Got around to finishing to exhaust wrap today really like how it turned out
Also threw 2 coats of bed liner on the tip before I wrapped the collector so it looks more fresh
Not sure how long it'll hold up but looks good right now

Also after several coats of paint wet sanding and a bunch of clear coat layers I finished painting my seat
I'm no pro at this but I think it turned out well

Planning on getting around to sandblasting the gas tank and painting it to match the glossy black seat

Pulled off the headlight today to paint the housing and to clean up the wiring, it's a mess but I've never really messed with wiring like this, doesn't look too complicated but I'll probably look up some wiring diagrams before I move too much further

Found a fender so I chopped it up and painted it to make it a "shorty" fender
