The Deliverer is the only 10mm I use

 

Same here. 86 damage per shot. The only other 10mm I use is the explosive pistol, and that is strictly for clearing out mirelurk eggs.

 

I haven't done any mods to mine besides adding glow sights so I still only have like 55 damage or something along those lines

 

I've got the pistols perk maxed out as well, so that probably has a lot to do with it.

 

I'm considering just running through the main quests quickly and starting over to make a character that is setup better for my play style. When I started I just made everything even because I didn't know what I would play like.

Did you jet pack to that secret room? I haven't been up there yet was wondering if it's worth it without a jet pack.

Who was it saying they moved Preston and Sturgis to the castle? I can't get them to leave sanctuary

 

I can't figure out the artillery. I have them placed but it won't let me assign anyone

 

Its worth it, trust me. This'll be my 3rd play through. And for me personally sneak + handguns have been my favorite combo so far. Only thing that kinda blows is that my long range pistol (2 shot .44) is super inaccurate. So there's not much ranged combat going on. Can't hit the broad side of a barn with it with a scope, iron sights work way better for whatever reason.

 

I want to create a character with high charisma and a good sneaking/sniping ability

 

For me Preston moved himself to the castle. I don't think Sturges can move out of sanctuary, but I could be wrong.

 

Charisma is huge in this game. Sneaking is good to a point. But it seems like most of the enemies are in groups, so kill 1 and the rest are already alerted anyway, regardless of how sneaky you are. But ranged sneak is pretty useful

 

I try to sneak and get collateral kills as often as possible, usually doesn't work but it's fun to try.

 

Only way to build there is up

I have to agree. I just finished my Sunshine Coop. Level 12 and I already have the small town putting out 100 water with full concrete wall goodness in force.

BTW how do you get in. I literally walled the whole thing and I use stairs I flip the other way to leave and come. I forget where the fast travel pad is too... anyways do you use gates or doored gates at all?

 

At the castle yeah. The only two people there are Ronnie and the guy at the radio and it won't let me assign either of them

 

I'm close to level 135 or something and have found over 300 locations and I am barely starting the main storyline quests lol. Exploration for the win!

 

I usually use the big scrap fence gate
