    Just figured out the solution to my own problem.

    My wife's clothes' steamer. Just went out and test it on the HD outdoor carpet, works great for molding the carpet. a trip to Home Depot to get enough to do the cap is in order tomorrow. Might have it done by this weekend! :bananadance:

    I have been using a home depot indoor/outdoor carpet as a bed mat for a few months now. Doesn't catch on everything and seems to be holding up. Has a velcro loop look to it in charcoal. I should be able to velcro lights to it in the future. I was impressed with it when I took the steamer to it, molded very nicely. Will see how it looks tomorrow when the test piece has dried, it should have kept it's shape. If so, I will mock up the whole thing tomorrow, steam it, and then let it dry before glueing it down.
