    Your pre-load is about half of mine on the BOSS set up. I doubt you have them cranked too high. When did you start noticing they seemed stiff? When it got cold?

    Also what is the current measurement from the center of your hub to the bottom lip of your fender? Stock is 20"s. If you are over 23"s there would be an issue but I doubt you are.

    And yes that design is hard to crank after some time since the AL sleeve will oxidize to the ring. Soak it in PB Blaster a few times over a few hours and it should loosen up.
