I'll add my daily driver, 04 Dcab SR5 4x4 with 150k miles on it.
Upgrades are CBI sliders, UWS lopro toolbox, slide-n-lock rails in the bed and sides, 5100s to level the truck on 265/75/16 Goodyear Silent Armors.20151229_123843.jpg 20151230_090636.jpg 20151230_090622.jpg

Interior is still in great shape.

Only repairs other than regular maintenance is replaced the AC compressor, a frozen front caliper required new calipers and rotors and a worn steering rack after years of wheeling and hitting off camber turns a little too fast.

This is my fourth Toyota truck, previous were:
86 4X2 single cab, no options including air and radio. I once drove it across the country on the southern route including Texas with a boombox and a shitload of D cell batteries (moved to the snow belt so I got rid of it for a 4X4).
    91 Regular cab 4x4 V6, (head gasket failure @ 130K miles)
99 Regular cab 4x4 (traded for the 04 Dcab after the wife told me she was pregnant again.)

I've continuously owned a Toyota truck in one form or another for 30 yrs now and just ordered my 5th on Monday, a Quicksand DCLB 4X4 Offroad. I love the gold / tan colors, you never need to wash them and they still look good.

I've owned them living in CA, IL, ME and now VA, never had rust issues as long as I washed the salt off regularly in the winter.

Don't worry, the 04 isn't leaving the family, my son is buying it from me. He loves Toyota trucks almost as much as me.

They just don't make them any better! I love my 04 so much I will drive it until the wheels fall off, I love it more each day I spend driving it. Only has 98k miles so has a long life ahead yet!

Do you know what setting you used for the 5100's? Also, do you happen to know the part number for your box? I am having trouble finding the same one you have.

The Bilsteins are set at the middle setting which I believe gives you about 1.75 inches of lift to level.
For the tool box like I have, the UWS Part number should be TBS-60-A-LP-BLK. Here it is listed on Amazon.

Thank you so much! Did you need to do the front diff drop with the added front height?

Nope, you shouldn't need it for the middle setting. If you go the highest setting (2.5 inches of lift) you might need to do the diff drop.

They were $1000 when I got it a few years ago. Then another $4-500 shipping from cali. They were the only ones carrying them at the time.
