Although I think I have my head firmly wrapped around the project now. Just goes to show his level of dedication. I get the feeling he would have been equally helpful had I not been buying gear from him too.

This seems to fit good right here. Just needs a bit of adjustment seat does lock into place at this time Still need to adjust wire path

 

I am gonna have to take a look at those. I already need to get the front of my truck detailed because the stock mats are horrible.

Recently decided that the shifter I got with my truck needed to go.

In cold weather, this aluminum shifter was pretty annoying; very cold. Replaced it with this piece of crap, but so far so good.

It makes the shifter taller, and subsequently the shifting distance is longer. Honestly, I kind of like that part, and the grip is great...so far.
Ill post pictures of it if and when it does wear down.

Also, moved my ultragauge so that it is now above my rear-view mirror. A quick project that makes a big difference so far.

 

I did same as you. Reference 6x9's and 6.5's in the back doors. Infinity 5 channel amp and a 10' kicker and box in the back. Kenwood HU. Sounds full and rich!

 

I haven't tried the WeatherTech brand so can't give a full comparison but from what I read they are both a good fit. The reason I went with the huskies is people who had tried both said the WT brand was more of a plastic feel then the huskies which is more rubbery. Didn't like the sound of plastic mixed with icy boots.

The huskies provide basically 100% coverage so no worries about messing up your carpet in winter.

 

Wow that thing must pound hard! I've got two Kicker 10" subs. Can't imagine a 10 foot sub! :grin:

Ran it through the autowash to remove as much salt as possible... We have been averaging snow every few days, with temps in the 20's the plows have been pouring it on, enough so that when the roads finally dry out, you leave a cloud of salt behind you like your cruising down a dirt road!
