    Damn dude, I'm sorry. :(
Yeah, drunk driving is stupid. I decided when I started driving that I would never get behind the wheel with alcohol in my system, because I don't want to put anyone or my truck at risk. Not even one beer, even if I'm only driving from my best friend's to my house, which is about two blocks. I won't do it.

Thanks guys. Yeah looks like I'll be around to see another B-day roll around tomorrow.

Forgot to tell you what the drunk, no driver license, in the U.S. illegally, Mexican got for killing 2 people. He was sentenced to 6 years, (probably done 3) and was deported. I bet he is back to working here illegally again at Purdue Turkey processors in Washington, Indiana.

Thanks again and Happy New Year to you all.

My dad is exactly like that. When he was 14 he got drunk and ran into a dog tied to a tree and killed it. To this day if he takes one sip he won't leave the house. I'm not even sure how he still has a functioning liver. But I love him....even if he does get plastered yelling crazy shit while watching Fox News. I figure he lived a good life supporting his family and can live out his days as he pleases as long as he's not hurting anyone else...crazy bastid.

A DUI or Drunk Driving conviction will bar you from entering Canada, UK, Australia & New Zealand. In all four, drunk driving is a criminal offense. Criminals are not allowed to cross the borders of the five amigos.

It just is not worth it!

    Happy New Years

35 years of driving a Semi, and i ALWAYS refused to be on the road later then 6 P.M. on Dec. 31, and wouldn't roll again until after 7 A.M. the next morning!
Sadly, saw the aftermath of FAR too many accidents caused by the old recipe; "Instant idiot, Just add Alcohol!"
Me, I'm VIOLENTLY allergic to beer, and hate the taste of Alcohol, so it's never been a problem for me!
    "Y'all drive safe out there!"

I do my best to stay off the road at night because thats when you are most likely to encounter a drunk driver. Especially this time of the year. There are times when I must drive after dark and I'm an extremely defensive driver when I do.

You can not drive careful enough at night for a deer to run into your truck or you hit it. Been there done that. I don't drive at night unless I have to. And luckily I'm not an important person so I don't have to venture out at night.

Oh I know, I'm just referring to things I can do...like giving a few extra seconds at 4 way intersections before I cross. I've never been one to power ahead as soon as the light turns green. I'm the guy everyone passes bc I'm going the speed limit.

Other things are tapping the brake lights when stopped, and watching my mirrors..ready to pull left or right to avoid someone that may rear end me...i've saved my taco this way. Nearly hit from behind and pulled into the median just in time.

Poor dog, but I'm glad for him that it wasn't a human. Would have definitely meant jail time and lots of other bad news.
Reckon as long as he's not hurting anyone, right?
