Definitely the best looking grille option to date, very nice work. I would take one bare metal and get it powdercoated locally, perhaps not even black , why not offer this since as you state the longest wait is powder coat. Either way I'm on the list. Thanks for the fab work!

Fitment is going to be the hard part. My grille by DBcustomz was thinner and more pliable than this one looks and it was still a HUGE PAIN IN THE ASS to get all the gaps out. The grill has bends on both ends where it curves backwards. Its tough to get everything to line up perfect. Get the gaps out of one spot and create caps in another. There a couple of places that arnt perfect but I dont think anyone would notice if I didn't point them out. Small gaps between bezel and grille.
Anything is better than oem though. Even a can of paint.

 

Jerry has already done a test fit and the drop in took less than 10 minutes. He's just changing some refining so it'll look more slick.

 

Can't wait. I'm on the waiting list.

 

Fitment will not be an issue with this grille it won't be on the market until it fabricated to fit the contour of the bezel. That's the difference between ours and others it will be shaped the same as the grille so no need for moving things around to make it look right. The others on a market are flat and the grille is far from that so ours will be formed to fit the grille.

 

Mine was curved to fit but not exact. My muscles were sore from trying to pull it tight to closeup the gaps while i shot the self taping screws at the same time...lol
I will also say it came with no instructions. Just a bag of hardware.
For the price I paid, I would have liked to see and instructional or how to video.
I'm happy with it over all.

 

Sounds like you're doing it right. Are you going to offer this also without the toyota lettering? If so, can you show a pic of it sans lettering the next time you put one on a truck?

 

Just out of curiosity how strong is the powder coating when it comes to rock chips. I only ask because I purchased a skid plate from another manufacturer and it's already begun to rust because of chips and I've only had it 6 months. I cleaned off the rust and sprayed undercoating on it to protect it. Maybe it was just a bad paint job I really have no clue. But what other options are there if you think rock chips might be an issue.

Same here haha. I was waiting to see if anybody had as little patience as myself.

 

I was hoping to see an update about a 20" LED bar option, but I've asked a few times and nothing :-/ I want more light up front, so a slot for Rigid Industries would sell me.

 

I'm working on it the second week in January we should be ready to take orders.

At this point and time we won't be offering it with lights mounted on it. We might be able to cut a slot in the center but the lights would have to be mounted on another bracket.
