Ooh..... I know. Sat in my buddies Pilot.... So nice. I do need a somewhat "pickup-ish in reasonable usage" bed though. Have a general contracting business that I would need it for. I believe, although I could be wrong, that you can't actually fit 4x8 sheets of plywood and drywall between the rear wheel wells (in the Pilot). That would be another very awesome plus in my book. I don't off-road a lot, so that is not my priority.

Why no F150 then... just curious because that would be a truck more in line with your needs unless you need the midsize, well, size.

We have had 2 Pilots, and currently own one, and absolutely love them! If it actually comes out looking like the photos, I will be for sure considering one.

It will look similar but likely still have no space between the box and truck. People forget there have been tons of leaked photos like this.

Won't fit in the garage. I did not buy a house with a garage to fill it up with random shit either. =)

Garage is 228" deep. Just won't fit!

Based on this pic, it has a more truck oriented bed.. hopefully its at least 6', 1st gen NSX motor and 4x4. Leave the all wheel drive on the cars...

It's AWD. I can find the link but it's running the same guts as the Pilot confirmed. No mods made for it.

On Tacoma forums they were saying the new Tacoma would have the 4.7 L engine and weigh less than the 2nd gen.

I don't think they are after the "mod" crowd. I would think they are aiming for the family man, or older couple. Not a off road/outdoors person the Tacoma is aimed at.

They will be trolling the same crowd as Colorado/Canyon, and other CUV/SUV shoppers.

    Agreed.

Let's be honest, they also don't have the money for truck development to do much other than pull the existing powerplant from the Pilot.

That's whats so sad, they suck in motorsports.. They need to bring something to tackle Baja or Dakar, a real serious vehicle. All the excitement is gone! I still have my all Stock 93 Integra, runs like a champ and is fun to drive.

You needed to be there to see it :D. The 3rd gen speculation was comical at best. Lot's of people thought it would be a 30 mpg aluminum first gen Tundra for some odd reason lol.

They are running Baja this year... in a truck that share nothing but the badges with it's production model.
